GRILLED MEAT.
- INGREDIENTS FOR THE RECIPE.
- 500 g of beef or pork fillets (steak, loin, sirloin, etc.).
- 4 cloves of garlic, chopped.
- Juice of 1 lemon.
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional).
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary (optional).
- Chopped fresh parsley to decorate (optional).
- PREPARATION MODE.
- Season the meat steaks with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, thyme and rosemary, if using.
- Place the fillets in a resealable plastic bag or airtight container.
- Pour the garlic and lemon mixture over the meat, making sure all the fillets are well coated.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- If you have time, you can marinate for 1 – 2 hours for more flavor.
- Heat a large griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, add a little olive oil if necessary.
- Cook the steaks for 3 – 4 minutes on each side for medium rare.
- Adjust cooking time based on your term preference.
- Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before cutting them.
- This helps the juices redistribute and the meat becomes juicier.
- Place the fillets on a plate and decorate with fresh chopped parsley if you wish.
- Serve hot, accompanied by your favorite garnishes, such as baked potatoes, steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
- You can add a little soy sauce to the marinade to give it an additional umami touch.
- For a spicier option, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
