GRILLED MEAT.

  • INGREDIENTS FOR THE RECIPE.
  • 500 g of beef or pork fillets (steak, loin, sirloin, etc.).
  • 4 cloves of garlic, chopped.
  • Juice of 1 lemon.
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional).
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary (optional).
  • Chopped fresh parsley to decorate (optional).
  • PREPARATION MODE.
  • Season the meat steaks with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, thyme and rosemary, if using.
  • Place the fillets in a resealable plastic bag or airtight container.
  • Pour the garlic and lemon mixture over the meat, making sure all the fillets are well coated.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • If you have time, you can marinate for 1 – 2 hours for more flavor.
  • Heat a large griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, add a little olive oil if necessary.
  • Cook the steaks for 3 – 4 minutes on each side for medium rare.
  • Adjust cooking time based on your term preference.
  • Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before cutting them.
  • This helps the juices redistribute and the meat becomes juicier.
  • Place the fillets on a plate and decorate with fresh chopped parsley if you wish.
  • Serve hot, accompanied by your favorite garnishes, such as baked potatoes, steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
  • You can add a little soy sauce to the marinade to give it an additional umami touch.
  • For a spicier option, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
