PEANUT SAUCE 🥜
INGREDIENTS
2 tomatoes
1 piece of onion
2 cloves of garlic
30 grams of peanuts
1 handful of chiles de árbol
3 tablespoons of oil
Coarse salt to taste
PREPARATION
1-It is very easy to prepare this peanut sauce with chile de árbol. First, in a pan heat the three tablespoons of oil, add the piece of onion and the garlic cloves and fry them for a few minutes so that the garlic releases its flavor and combines with the oil.
2-Add the tomatoes and fry them until they soften and the skin begins to come off. Cut the tomato so that it cooks more evenly and quickly.
3-While the tomatoes are cooking, in another pan toast the peanuts lightly and stirring constantly to prevent them from burning.
4-When the tomatoes, onion and garlic cloves are fried and golden, remove them from the pan and fry the chiles de árbol for a few seconds; don’t leave them too long or they will burn and become bitter.
5-Blend all the ingredients including the remaining oil. Also add a little coarse salt and blend for 3 minutes so that the peanut sauce with chile de árbol is creamy and smooth.
6-And that’s it! You now have a delicious and spicy peanut sauce with chile de árbol, ideal to accompany some delicious tacos or enjoy at a snack.
