PINEAPPLE JELLY WITH CREAM CHEESE
INGREDIENTS
1 package cream cheese (190 gr)
1 pineapple-flavored gelatin 25 gr or for 1 liter
1 liter boiling water for the gelatin
3 tablespoons gelatin or unflavored powdered gelatin 27 gr
¾ cup water
1 can evaporated milk 342 ml
1 can condensed milk 384 gr
1 package cream cheese 190 gr
¼ cup pineapple syrup or syrup
Cherries to taste
Slices of pineapple in syrup to taste (DO NOT use natural pineapple)
PREPARATION
- Prepare the pineapple gelatin with the liter of boiling water and let it cool a little at room temperature.
- Grease the mold with oil or spray.
- Place the pineapple slices and a few cherries on the bottom of the mold. In the video I show you how to make them I set it up, but it can be whatever you like.
- Pour in the gelatin and chill until it sets completely, about 2 to 3 hours. If you’re having trouble, you can refrigerate the mold. Arrange the pineapple and cherries in the cold mold and then pour in just a little of the gelatin to set the pineapple and cherries. Refrigerate for a few minutes to set slightly and then pour in all the remaining pineapple gelatin.
- Mix the gelatin or unflavored gelatin with ¾ cup of cold water until there are no lumps. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Heat for about 10 to 15 seconds in the microwave or until it melts.
- Blend the cream cheese, evaporated milk, condensed milk and pineapple syrup. Add the gelatin (hydrated and melted) and blend well.
- Once the pineapple gelatin has set, carefully pour in the cream cheese gelatin. You can use the bottom of a spoon to pour the mixture onto it so that it doesn’t fall so hard into the pineapple gelatin.
- Pour in all the white mixture and refrigerate for another 3 to 4 hours or until it’s completely set.
- Separate all the edges with your fingers. To make sure it doesn’t stick to the bottom.
- You can dip the mold in hot water for about 3 seconds, but no more or it will start to melt.
- Unmold and refrigerate until serving. Enjoy your delicious dessert!
