Herb Baked Potatoes
Baked potatoes with parmesan and garlic
Recipe ingredients
For 3 people;
Preparation: 5 minutes;
Cooking: 15 minutes;
Total time: 20 min
– 500 g small potatoes
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 2 cloves garlic, chopped
– 1/4 teaspoon each of these aromatic herbs: oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, sage
– ¼ teaspoon salt (more or less to taste)
– 2 pinches peppers
– 140 g grated parmesan cheese
– 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
– 30 g unsalted butter cut into small cubes
Preparation of the recipe
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Peel and rinse the small potatoes. Dry them and cut them in half.
2. Heat a pan that goes into the oven (preferably cast iron) and pour olive oil.
3. Add the potatoes and cook until they are crispy on the surface.
4. Cook the potatoes, turning frequently, until their skins are golden brown.
5. Push the apples into the corner of the pan to make room.
Put the garlic in it and fry it. Add the herb mixture, salt and pepper. Stir to mix everything well.
6. Turn off the heat and sprinkle the potatoes with parmesan and parsley.
7. Transfer the pan to the oven and roast the potatoes for 15 minutes.
8. Add pieces of butter cut into cubes on top of the bowl.
Tips:
The next time you go to the grocery store, choose the smallest potatoes you can find. Then just cook the potatoes in a pan, on the stove, with garlic and a mixture of herbs: oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme. Then sprinkle them liberally with parmesan. And put the pan in the oven. Let everything roast for 15 minutes. To make it even better, put small cubes of butter on top. Let them melt and you’ll have the best oven baked potatoes you’ve ever made at home!
