- 1/2 broccoli (only the florets finely chopped)
- 1 generous splash of olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 chopped tomato
- Salt, black pepper and hot paprika to taste
- 1 small carrot, chopped and steamed
- 1 cup chopped and steamed green beans
- 2 tablespoons oat bran
Preparation:
- Prepare the broccoli:
- Cut the broccoli florets into small pieces. If you prefer, you can also chop the stems into fine pieces.
- Sauté onion and garlic:
- In a large frying pan, heat a good splash of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until tender and slightly transparent.
- Add the chopped garlic cloves and mix for a couple of minutes until they release their aroma.
- Add the vegetables:
- Add the chopped tomato to the pan and stir to combine with the onion and garlic.
- Add the chopped broccoli, mixing all the ingredients well.
- Cover the pan and let it cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally so it doesn’t stick.
- Season:
- Season with salt, black pepper and hot paprika according to your taste.
- Add carrot and green beans:

- Sprinkle the two tablespoons of oat bran over the mixture and stir again to integrate all the ingredients.
- Cover the pan and let cook for an additional 2 minutes so the oat bran is well incorporated and the flavors blend.
