I don’t use chemicals for ants. I simply use a banana peel and the problem is solved.
- Preparation: Pick ripe bananas with dark spots. Eat the fruit and save the peels.
- Prepare the solution: Mix half a liter of hot water with 10 grams of boric acid in a container.
- Soak the peels: Dip the banana peels in the prepared solution and let them sit for several hours.
- Place the peels: Once soaked, take out the peels and cut them into small pieces.
- Distribution: Place the peel pieces under the bushes and along the paths where you see ants.
- Elimination process: The ants will be attracted by the soaked peels. They will carry the boric acid back to the nest.
- Result: Although they don’t die immediately, the boric acid will build up in their bodies and eventually eliminate the entire colony, including the queen.
- Additional benefit: Banana peels, when decomposed, act as a natural fertilizer for plants.
This method is safe and effective for controlling ants in your garden without harming other beneficial insects.
