Oatmeal bread with seeds: Easy, delicious and ideal to avoid white flour

Bread is a classic that is or was present on all the tables in our country. Which is a great companion for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner.

But there are many health problems if you consume it daily. The most relevant problem is that it increases triglycerides and causes diabetes or heart problems.

Now, there are solutions for this. Such as reducing daily consumption or making other types of healthier breads.

The oatmeal bread with seeds that I bring you in this article is one of the healthiest you can make at home. You will only need some utensils that you have in your kitchen and (if possible) a 24 x 10 x 8 cm mold.

For this delicious oatmeal bread, you will need:

300 gr. Oat flakes

100 gr. of Oat Flour

300 ml. of water

10 gr. of fresh yeast

2 tbsp. of seed mix

1 tsp. of salt

Oil or Butter  c/n

Preparation

To begin, in a bowl we put the oat flakes, oat flour, seeds and salt. We mix all these dry ingredients well and set aside for a moment.

In another bowl we put a little warm water and dilute the yeast well. Then we add all the remaining water and continue stirring for a few minutes.

Now we have to pour the liquid little by little into the bowl where the dry ingredients are. While the liquid falls we have to mix without stopping until we have a homogeneous mixture.

After having a homogeneous mixture, we let it rest in the same bowl covered with plastic wrap or a towel for at least 30 minutes.

After time, we look for the mold that we will use for the bread and we grease it (either with butter or oil). Then we pour the entire homogeneous mixture into the mold and send it to a preheated oven at 180ºC for 50 minutes.

The cooking time may vary, what I recommend is to wait about 40 minutes and see if it is ready. To know when it is fully cooked, we have to pierce it with a stick or knife.

If what we use comes out completely dry, it is because the bread is already ready. Otherwise, we leave it for about 5 minutes until it finishes cooking.

When the bread is ready, we take it out of the oven and let it cool for about 30 minutes. After time we can unmold.

And that’s how easy it is to make this delicious oatmeal bread. If you use it for breakfast, I recommend spreading it with jam and cream cheese. With just these two products, you already have a perfect breakfast.
