Ants carry aphids on plants: they feed on the sap of plants which contains a sweet liquid, adored by ants.

Ants are not harmful insects, but they help aphids to proliferate.

To get rid of ants in the garden, we recommend using this solution.

Ingredients of the anti-ant insecticide:

– 2 boiled egg yolks
– 1/2 teaspoon of honey
– A grated teaspoon of boric acid (in powder form)

Preparation of the anti-ant insecticide:

Crush the boiled yolks with a fork. Transfer to a small jar.

Spread small amounts, the size of a corn kernel, of the resulting composition around and in the middle of the anthill. Usually, to eliminate these insects, a mixture of egg, honey and boric acid is needed. The ants are very attracted to it and carry it inside the mound to the queen ant. After consuming it, they die of dehydration and paralysis.

You must respect the proportions indicated in the recipe. Otherwise, the working ants will die immediately and will no longer bring the solution to the queen ant, which means that the anthill will continue to exist and thrive.
