When you have 3 potatoes, prepare this easy and delicious potato dish🍽️🥔✨

Ingredients

potato base

  • 3 potatoes
  • Water (for boiling)
  • 1 onion
  • Sunflower oil (for frying)
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 100 grams of cheese
  • Spring Onions
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

  • 500 ml of milk
  • 200 grams of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 3 eggs
  • Butter

Preparation

  1. Prepare the potatoes: Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces. Cook them in water until tender. Drain and mash the potatoes.
  2. Prepare the onion: Finely chop the onion and fry it in sunflower oil until it becomes transparent.
  3. Add the bell pepper: Chop a bell pepper and add it to the fried onion. Cook together until the pepper is tender.
  4. Combine the potatoes: Mix the mashed potatoes with the fried onion and pepper. Add the grated cheese, chopped spring onions, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
  5. Prepare the batter: In a separate bowl, mix 500 ml milk, 200 g flour and 3 eggs until you have a soft batter. Add a pinch of salt. Shape the crepes in a non-stick pan.
  6. Forming the patties: Take portions of the potato mixture and fill the crepe and roll it up. Coat them first in flour, then in beaten egg and finally in breadcrumbs.
  7. Fry the pancakes: Melt a generous amount of butter in a frying pan and fry the potato pancakes on both sides until golden and crispy.
  8. Serving: Serve the potato pancakes hot, accompanied by a fresh salad or sauce of your choice.
