The ingredient that removes scale from pots and pans: it costs 1 euro
There is an ingredient that removes scale from pots and pans quickly, economically and, above all, very effectively.
Cooking great food is a passion of many, but to achieve excellent results it takes a lot of practice. In addition to quality and commitment, it is also necessary to have the right tools to be able to make tasty dishes. However, it can happen that anyone gets distracted and leaves the pan or pot on the stove for too long.
When you realise what is happening, it is too late: the pan is already burnt. How to clean it? There are some fairly simple and quick methods that allow you to restore the pan , removing the encrustations: this way it will be possible to reuse it in the future.
With this solution the pan is like new again: all the steps
The best remedy for cleaning encrusted pans and pots is to rely on an ingredient that removes encrustations in a simple and inexpensive way, which everyone has within reach: we are obviously talking about baking soda, an excellent solution that will make cleaning the burnt pan much less annoying . All you have to do is sprinkle a large layer of baking soda on the bottom of the dirty pans, avoiding diluting the powder too much in water.
Then wait about 30 minutes before using an abrasive sponge or metal scraper to scrub and rinse: effectiveness is guaranteed. As for the outside of pots and pans, you can clean them with baking soda, vinegar and lemon juice. Just mix two tablespoons of each ingredient and rub the outside of the pans with the resulting paste and the dirt will disappear as if by magic.
Another way to clean a crusty pan is to use white vinegar along with baking soda. For this method to work well, first remove as much of the burnt-on food from the pan. At that point, the pan is placed back on the stove and heated until it sizzles. Then a cup of water or a mixture of half a cup of water and half a cup of white vinegar is added to the hot pan and allowed to simmer.
The crusty pan can also be cleaned with ketchup.
Meanwhile, using a spatula or scraper to clean the bottom of the pan, remove any burnt-on food residue. Then pour the liquid into the sink , without drying or wiping the pan. The last step is to generously sprinkle the bottom of the pan with baking soda and let it cool. Using a damp abrasive sponge or nylon brush, vigorously scrub the bottom of the pan. After removing any encrustation, proceed with washing and drying.
Finally, another good method to remove scale from the pan is… ketchup. The tasty product, in fact, contains vinegar, in turn loaded with acetic acid that does an excellent job of removing burns. To remove scale, just grease the pan with a thick layer of ketchup and leave it like that for about half an hour. After this time, take a wooden spatula and scrape off the residue: once the operation is complete, wash the pan and let it dry.
