YELLOWING PARSLEY LEAVES, JUST WITH THIS TRICK THEY WILL BACK LIKE BEFORE
Parsley leaves can turn yellow for several reasons, but there is a simple trick to avoid it and keep them fresh for longer. Here I explain what to do:
-Identify the causes:
1- Irrigation: Avoid overwatering or underwatering. The soil must be well drained.
2- Sun exposure: Parsley prefers semi-shade.
3- Infections and parasites: Check for fungi, bacteria, mites or aphids.
4- Nutrients: Make sure the plant has enough nitrogen and potassium.
- Conservation of cut leaves:
1- Washing and drying: Wash the leaves well and dry them carefully with absorbent paper.
2- Conservation in a container: Line a container with dry absorbent paper, place the parsley leaves and close it tightly.
3- Refrigeration: Store the container in the refrigerator. This method prevents the leaves from turning yellow and keeps them fresh for several days.
By following these steps, your parsley will stay green and fresh for longer, and you’ll also save money by not having to buy fresh herbs as often.
