Problem:
1- Hair dye can stain clothes and towels during application.
2- Low-quality products can leave persistent stains on fabrics.
Effective Solution:
- Prepare the Solution:
- Mix in a bowl:
- 1 teaspoon of powdered detergent
- 1/2 cup of wine vinegar
- 1 measure of ammonia
- 1 teaspoon of denatured alcohol
- Stir well until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Apply the Solution:
- Immerse the stained fabric in the solution.
- Let it soak for at least 15 minutes.
- Rinse and Dry:
- Remove the fabric and rinse it well.
- Let it air dry.
Notes: - If the stain persists, repeat the process.
- This method is inexpensive and uses common household ingredients
Alternatives According to Ink Color: - Light Ink:
- Use lemon juice directly on the stain.
- Rub with a sponge and wash in the washing machine without bleach.
- Dark Ink:
- Use the solution described above or apply baking soda or apple cider vinegar.
- For baking soda, mix with water until it forms a paste, apply to the stain, let sit for 10 minutes, and then soak in hot water with 3 tablespoons of baking soda for 8 hours.
- For apple cider vinegar, soak the stain and let sit for at least 2 hours before washing.
With these methods, you can recover your fabrics and keep them looking like new, without having to replace them every time you experiment with dyes.
