  1. Sodium to Refresh Your Home
Cleanliness and a pleasant aroma in my bathroom are essential for me. An excellent option that I discovered is baking soda, which not only eliminates unpleasant odors but also disinfects the space. Here are two effective recipes:
    First Option:
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1/4 cup citric acid
  • 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide
  • A few drops of essential oil
    Preparation Process:
  1. Mix the baking soda, citric acid, hydrogen peroxide and vinegar in a container.
  2. After mixing, add a few drops of essential oil.
  3. Apply small amounts of this mixture on a paper and let it dry for a few hours.
  4. Then, place the resulting tablets in the toilet cistern.
  5. When you flush the toilet, you’ll enjoy a pleasant aroma and a crystal-clear toilet bowl.
    Second Option:
  • Baking soda
  • Citric acid
  • Essential oils
    Preparation Process:
  1. Mix baking soda and citric acid in a 1:3 ratio.
  2. Add 30 to 40 drops of essential oil (mint, lemon, orange, etc.).
  3. Gradually add water until you get a clay-like consistency.
  4. If you wish, you can add food coloring.
  5. Form balls with the mixture and let them dry for 24 hours.
  6. These balls can be used as air fresheners in different areas of your home.
  7. Natural Air Fresheners with Citrus Essence
For this alternative, you will need baking soda, citric acid, and essential oils.
    Preparation Process:
  8. Combine baking soda and citric acid in a 1:3 ratio.
  9. Add 30-40 drops of essential oil of your choice, such as peppermint, lemon, or orange.
  10. Mix well and gradually add water if necessary until you get a clay-like consistency.
  11. Add food coloring if desired.
  12. The mixture should have a consistency that allows you to form balls that hold their shape.
  13. Allow the balls to dry for 24 hours before using them as natural air fresheners in your home.
