Every washing machine can DRY clothes: Most people don’t even know about this feature yet!
Need to dry clothes quickly and don’t want to use the radiator or clothesline? You’ll be surprised to know that your washing machine can act as a dryer. Thanks to the Genial portal, here’s a perfect trick for those humid days.
Why use your washing machine as a dryer?:
In autumn and winter, humidity in the air is a common problem. Drying clothes outdoors is not always possible due to rain, snow and low temperatures. Using radiators to dry clothes is not ideal, as it can make the humidity worse and block the heat in the room. This temporary method of drying with the washing machine can be the solution.
How to use your washing machine to dry clothes:
- Prepare the clothes:
- Once the clothes are washed, put them back in the washing machine without spinning them too much.
- Add a towel:
- Place a large, absorbent towel along with the clothes in the washing machine. It is important that the towel can absorb the water well.
- Select the spin cycle:
_ Turn on the washing machine and select the spin cycle at the highest possible speed. - Wait for the cycle to finish:
- Let the washing machine do its work. The towel will absorb much of the water and moisture from the clothes.
- Final drying:
- When you take out the clothes, you will notice that they are much less damp. To complete the drying, a short time on the radiator should be enough.
