An unusual and clever way to store garlic not only in winter. It will remain fresh and tasty all the time.

By Lesia

Many of us, after harvesting, stock up on all kinds of fruits, vegetables and everything else that nature gives us. Among these gifts is, of course, garlic. However, if we do not store it correctly, it begins to sprout, dry out or rot.

Still, there is a way to keep it at home for as long as possible – by freezing it. After freezing garlic, it does not lose its properties, aroma or taste. And if you freeze it correctly, it will simplify the process of cooking.

You will need:

A meat grinder
Bags
A ruler
And to begin with, you need to clean, wash and place the garlic in the meat grinder. If you do not have a meat grinder, you can use a grater or squeeze the garlic.

Now put a small portion of chopped garlic in a bag – three tablespoons will be enough. Try to distribute it evenly along the entire bag and finally just fold the edge.

Next, take a ruler and divide the layer of garlic into cubes. Then place the garlic in the freezer.

When stored this way, the garlic does not undergo any changes. Using garlic in this form is also very convenient, since when you need it, you simply break a few cubes and add them to the food. You will not need to peel, wash or squeeze the garlic.
