IF YOU’VE NEVER PUT IT IN THE WASHING MACHINE, HERE’S WHY YOU SHOULD: UNEXPECTED RESULTS
- Cut a lemon in half.
- Apply a small amount of toothpaste to both halves.
- Use the first half to scrub the glass of the washing machine (obló).
- Rinse with warm water and dry with a microfibre cloth.
- Place the second half of the lemon inside the washing machine drum.
- Run an empty wash cycle (without clothes) at 60 degrees.
- The lemon and toothpaste will clean the inside of the washing machine and eliminate bad odours.
Alternative: - Put baking soda in the detergent compartment to soften and perfume clothes without chemicals.
