Toothpaste: discover all its really effective alternative uses
A simple toothpaste can be a good friend for certain household chores. Making it is very simple, you just have to learn how to use it. Once you have tried it, you will not be able to do without it and you will not lighten your wallet by buying specific products that are not always effective.
- Stubborn stains
With toothpaste, you can get rid of stubborn stains on your clothes. Pour 1 cup of baking soda on the stain. Then bring a strand of non-whitening toothpaste on top and with a clothes brush, start rubbing everything on the stain. Then let this newly created paste sit for a few minutes, then put everything in the washing machine. The result will be impeccable.
- Iron
If there are burn or rust stains on the soleplate of your iron, you can remove them with toothpaste. Bring the amount of 1 teaspoon of toothpaste and then wipe well with a dry cloth. Then rinse the straightener thoroughly with water and you will notice that all the stains have disappeared as if by magic. Of course, you must dry everything carefully afterwards. - Polishing silverware
With toothpaste, you can also polish your matte silverware. All you have to do is put a dab of toothpaste on a cotton pad and then wipe it on the matte surfaces. Leave it on for a few moments and then rinse with cold water. This way, they will shine as if they were new. - Black marks on shoes
In this case, all you have to do is moisten an old toothbrush and add a little toothpaste to the bristles. Then rub on the stains of the shoes in order to use the abrasive action of the product. Once this cleaning work is finished, rinse and after that your shoes will be perfectly clean.- Clean the joints between the tiles
Whitening the joints between the tiles is very easy. Just add a little toothpaste to an old toothbrush that no longer uses it and go and scrub vigorously. I recommend that you use this method by cleaning a small area at a time and obviously adding toothpaste from time to time. You can also clean the yellowed or moldy corners of the shower. Then, you just have to rinse and dry carefully.
