How to prepare a natural dye against gray hair with rosemary
Age, genetics, hormonal changes, but also nutrition and certain habits, can facilitate and anticipate the appearance of gray hair, even at a young age. Many people resort to conventional dyes to hide gray hair , exposing them to chemicals that, little by little, end up damaging the hair . Not to mention that they are almost always very expensive.
Fortunately, there are equally effective natural options, such as the rosemary tint to cover gray hair that you can prepare at home and that we describe below.
Natural remedies are always the best option, because in addition to giving us similar results, they contain nutrients that help improve the appearance and health of the hair , have no contraindications and do not damage the hair.
Rosemary is an aromatic plant that is used in cooking, but it has many cosmetic properties. Rosemary can cover gray hair and give shine to hair.
As if that were not enough, rosemary helps balance scalp oil without altering the pH, strengthening follicles and stimulating hair regrowth.
Ingredients:
750 ml of water
30 grams of dried rosemary
20 grams of sage
rosemary essential oil
Bring the rosemary and sage to a boil over low heat. When boiling, add 5 drops of rosemary essential oil and mix well.
Remove from heat and let sit for 30 minutes. Then strain the liquid and pour it into a bottle with a spray diffuser.
Once it has cooled completely, you can spray the solution all over your hair, from root to tip. Put on a cap and let it act overnight. The next day, rinse thoroughly with water.
The effect of this natural rosemary-based dye is not immediate, but if you apply it every three days or once a week, the results will not be long in coming.
