Remove Mold, Dirt, and Limescale from Your Washing Machine Drawer – It’ll Be Like New!
After removing the drawer tray from the appliance, all you need to do is collect everything you need.
The ingredients you need to make this solution are:
Warm water to taste
4 heaped tablespoons of citric acid
4 tablespoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of dish soap
Running water if needed
In addition, you will need:
Gloves
Basin
1 old toothbrush
1 sponge
Cotton swabs
1 dry cloth
All you have to do is roll up your sleeves and get to work.
Procedure
Place the washing machine tub in a basin and pour the baking soda and citric acid on top. Then pour the boiling water, carefully so as not to run the risk of burning yourself, and leave everything aside for the chemical reaction to develop.
Let the mixture rest for 40 minutes.
When the foam is dissolved, put on your gloves and then dip the sponge in the solution. With the sponge, he begins to clean the empty drawer of the appliance, then also uses the toothbrush to be able to reach even the most difficult places.
Once this is done, start cleaning the tray left in the solution with the sponge. In addition, in this case too, use the toothbrush and the cotton swab to remove mold and encrustations in the most difficult to reach places.
At the end of this work, rinse the drawer under running water to remove all residues and then dry with a dry cloth.
Of course, rinse the cassette with a sponge and then dry it with a cloth.
Now the washing machine drawer is well cleaned and free of mold.
Good housekeeping.
