Exquisite, soft and quick cake — with lots and lots of cream (no bake)!
We love desserts that contain a lot of cream or filling! This cake belongs to this category. It is also easy and quick to prepare.
INGREDIENTS:
-500 g of chocolate biscuits;
-800 ml of milk;
-7 egg yolks;
-200 g of sugar;
-4 tablespoons of flour;
-2 tablespoons of starch;
-150 g of butter;
-4 banana;
-caramelized condensed milk — for decoration.
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
1. Prepare the cream: put the egg yolks, sugar, flour and starch in a deep bowl. Add 100-200 ml of milk and mix with a whisk until smooth.
2. Add the remaining milk. Stir. Transfer the resulting composition to a saucepan with a thick bottom.
3. Boil the cream over moderate heat, until it thickens and the first bubbling bubbles begin to appear, stirring constantly with a whisk, so that it does not stick to the bottom of the bowl and no lumps appear.
4. Take the cream off the heat. Add the butter. Mix very well, until it melts and spreads evenly through it.
5. Cut the bananas into thin rounds.
6. Assemble the cake: grease the bottom of a tray or deep forms with a little cream.
7.Spread a layer of biscuits in the tray/pan, breaking them into pieces if necessary. Cover them with a generous layer of cream.
8. Spread a layer of banana slices in the tray/form. Brush them with cream.
9.Repeat steps 7 and 8 until you fill the pan/pan or run out of ingredients.
10. Cover the cake with food foil, so that it comes into direct contact with its surface. Refrigerate for 8 hours to set.
11. Remove the food foil from the surface of the cake and decorate it with caramelized condensed milk, applying it with the help of a piping bag.
12. Portion and serve this tasty dessert!
