Light Orange Mousse
The light orange mousse is a healthy and refreshing snack that is perfect for summer days with a soft and airy texture, while having a delicious citrus taste.
Ingredients
- 2 oranges
- 20g cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
- Squeeze the oranges then save the zest.
- Measure the fruit juice in a glass and complete to obtain 15 cl of liquid.
- Heat the 15 cl of liquid then add the zest.
- Add the cornstarch and cook over low heat until thickened.
- Crack the eggs, separate the yolks from the whites. Add the 2 egg yolks to the pan and mix. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and gently fold them into the cooled cream.
- Pour into ramekins and let cool.
