Lots and lots of apples! The simplest apple pie that I make almost every day. It’s so good!
Oh, apple pie! The classic that you never get tired of. Plus, it can really be made almost every day, because it’s so simple and quick. Here’s a recipe that the whole family is guaranteed to love:
Ingredients:
1 kg of apples (preferably sour)
250 g flour
150 g sugar
100 g butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
a pinch of salt
a little butter to grease the mold
Preparation:
Preparation of the apples:
Peel the apples, remove the cores, and cut them into thin slices.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and a little sugar (about 2 tablespoons), then set aside.
Prepare the dough:
Cream the butter with the sugar until fluffy.
Add the eggs one by one and continue mixing.
Mix the flour, baking powder and salt, then add to the butter mixture.
Mix the dough until smooth.
Assemble the pie:
Grease a cake tin and pour the dough into it.
Arrange the apple slices evenly on top of the dough.
Baking:
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for approx. 40-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Serving:
Let the pie cool, then cut into slices and serve.
You can also dust it with powdered sugar or whipped cream.
Tips and tricks:
If you want an even more delicious pie, you can mix a little grated lemon zest or vanilla extract into the dough.
You can sprinkle the apple slices with lemon juice to prevent them from browning.
You can sprinkle crumbs or sliced almonds on top of the pie.
You can serve the pie with vanilla ice cream or vanilla soda.
