    • A cool, dry place is ideal.  
  • Anti-Clumping Measures:
    • If your salt tends to clump, you can add a few grains of rice to the container. The rice will absorb moisture.  
    • Also many salts already contain anti-caking agents.  
  • Buying Salt:
    • Salt is very inexpensive, so there’s no need for risky shortcuts.  
    • Buy salt in reasonable quantities to ensure freshness.
