How to wash yellow and stained white clothes without washing machine or rubbing with your hands

By Vitia

Keeping whites spotless can be challenging, especially when they turn yellow or stain over time. However, you don’t need a washing machine or rubbing with your hands to restore the whiteness of your garments.

In this article, I’ll show you how to make an effective cleansing mixture with ingredients you probably already have at home. With this solution, you can easily and effortlessly restore whiteness to your clothes.

How to Prepare Powerful White Laundry Mix

To leave your white clothes as good as new, you will need:

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml of alcohol
  • 50 ml white vinegar (alcohol vinegar)
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered soap, liquid soap or detergent
  • 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide (volume 10, 20, 30 or 40). Note: Volume 40 is the strongest.
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • Enough hot or cold water to cover the parts

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Wash Area

  • Find a large container or tub where you can dip the whites.
  • Make sure it’s large enough so that the clothes are completely covered by water.

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients

  • In the bowl, pour 50 ml of alcohol and 50 ml of white vinegar.
  • These ingredients will act as disinfectants and help remove stubborn stains.

Step 3: Add the Soap

  • Add 2 tablespoons of soap powder, liquid soap, or detergent to the mixture.
  • The soap will help dissolve dirt and stains on the garments.

Step 4: Add the Hydrogen Peroxide

  • Add 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide to the mixture. You can use hydrogen peroxide of volume 10, 20, 30 or 40, depending on the intensity of the stains.
  • Hydrogen peroxide is a powerful bleach that will help restore the white color of your clothes.

Step 5: Add the Baking Soda

  • Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to the mixture.
  • Baking soda will act as a mild abrasive and help neutralize odors.

Step 6: Add the Water

  • Fill the container with enough hot or cold water to cover the garments.
  • Hot water is more effective at dissolving stains, but if your clothes are delicate, opt for cold water.

Step 7: Dip the Clothes

  • Place the whites in the mixture, making sure they are completely submerged. Let them soak for at least an hour.
  • For more stubborn stains, you can leave the garments to soak for several hours or even overnight.

Step 8: Rinse and Dry

  • Once the clothes have been soaking long enough, remove them from the container and rinse them thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue from the mixture.
  • Then, hang the garments in the sun to dry. Sunlight will help to further whiten clothes.

Bonus Tip:

To keep your whites in perfect condition, repeat this process once a month or whenever you notice that they are losing their shine. Also, avoid mixing white clothes with colorful clothes in your daily wash to prevent them from getting stained.
