Soft Meatballs: The Secret to Making Them Juicy and Tasty!
Soft Meatballs are tender, juicy meatballs, usually made with ground beef or veal, and seasoned with herbs and spices. They are often served in a sauce or as a side dish, and can be served with pasta, vegetables or bread for a complete meal.
Ingredients
500 g minced meat 1 egg 60 g (¼ cup) parmesan cheese 30 ml (2 tablespoons)
olive oil 1 clove garlic, minced 5 g (2 tbsp) parsley, chopped 30 g (½ cup) fresh breadcrumbs 30 ml (2 tbsp) milk salt and pepper to taste all-purpose flour for dredging 120 ml (½ cup) of (water, white vinegar, then add a sugar) 120 ml (½ cup) of water
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, egg, parmesan, garlic, olive oil, parsley, breadcrumbs, milk, salt and pepper. Shape meat mixture into balls and dredge each in flour.
Heat some more olive oil in a skillet and cook the meatballs for 5 minutes on each side, or until crispy and golden brown.
Pour 120 ml (½ cup) of (water, white vinegar, then add a sugar) and the water into the pan of meatballs and cook over low heat for 10 more minutes.
