Homemade waffles for a change from pancakes.
INGREDIENTS (5 PERS.)
250g of flour
1 tsp of salt
4 eggs
75 gr of butter
1 sachet of yeast
150 ml of milk
150 ml of water
60 g sugar
1 tablespoon of oil
2 tablespoons rum (if desired)
PREPARATION
Mix the flour and salt in a bowl.
Make a well and break in the eggs one by one, mixing with the whisk. Be careful not to make lumps!
Add the melted butter, water and milk.
Then add the sugar, oil, yeast and possibly the rum.
You must obtain a fluid paste.
Cover and let rest for at least 30 minutes.
Pour a little batter into the waffle tin, which you have oiled beforehand.
Cook for about 3 minutes, turning the waffle iron halfway through the cooking time.
Serve these waffles with maple syrup, honey, Nutella…
