Brussels Sprouts With Cream And Bacon

INGREDIENTS for 4 people :

  • 500 gr. Brussels sprouts
  • 1 level teaspoon salt
  • 80 g onions
  • 150 g smoked bacon cubes
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • pepper

PREPARATION:
Bring a large pot of water to the boil with a teaspoon of salt.
Clean the Brussels sprouts with fresh water, removing any remaining soil. Remove any small wilted leaves.
Place Brussels sprouts in boiling water and cook for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Peel and chop onions.
Sauté onions, bacon and Brussels sprouts for a few minutes. Add the crème fraîche, pepper and Espelette pepper. Cook for a further 2 or 3 minutes, stirring regularly, then serve.
