Sausage Balls

Sausage balls are balls of minced meat seasoned with various spices and herbs, formed into small balls and cooked in a pan or in the oven. They can be served as an appetizer, snack or accompaniment to a main course.

Ingredients

  • 250g of flour
  • 3g dry yeast
  • 12 grams of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 42g of butter
  • 125ml hot milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 12 sausages
  • 1 egg
  • Smoothie and parsley to garnish

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, add the flour, baking powder, sugar, egg, melted butter, milk and salt. Mix and work well until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  2. Let stand for 90 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into 12 portions, then roll out and roll each one.
  4. Wrap the sausages and let rest for 30 minutes.
  5. Then cover with a beaten egg and add a little parsley.
  6. Bake at 356°F (180°) for 25 minutes
