Yoghurt Genoise: The Soft Dessert

A yoghurt sponge cake very easy to prepare. It is an ideal cake to make between family with a coffee or tea, good preparation.

Ingredients

  • 350g natural yoghurt
  • 4 eggs
  • 100g sugar
  • 50g cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Start by separating the yolks from the whites.
  2. Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar then add the starch, the baking powder and the yoghurt.
  3. Beat the egg whites stiff with a pinch of salt.
  4. Add to mixture and mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a mold and bake at 170 degrees for 50 minutes.
