Tip For Getting Very Crispy Fries With White Vinegar
Fries are certainly one of the most popular ways to cook the potato for young and old. Queens of a convivial meal, they can be eaten plain or with sauce and go wonderfully well with fish or meat. You still need to know how to make good crispy fries so as not to spoil the meal.
Ingredients
- Potatoes
- Water
- 1 heaping tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 heaping tablespoon of white vinegar
- Frying oil
Preparation
- Start by peeling the potatoes.
- Cut them into sticks. In a large container, pour them.
- Add a good tablespoon of white vinegar to the fries. Cover with water and leave for 10 minutes.
- Empty the liquid mixture (water and vinegar) using a colander.
- Put the fries in a tea towel and pat it lightly to remove excess water.
- Place them in a large bowl. Add a tablespoon of cornstarch. Mix.
- Fry in a bath of oil in small quantities.
