Stuffing
To create the filling, the ingredients we need are:
a spoonful of apricot jam
two apples
cinnamon to taste
a spoonful of butter
the juice of half a lemon
a spoonful of granulated sugar
The preparation
Cut the apples into cubes after removing the core and peel. Then we take a pan and put the apples in it, after which we add the lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and butter. Everything should be made to go over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
When the butter has melted, add the apricot jam and start mixing again. Then let it cool on a plate.
The dough
For the dough instead we need:
220 – 230 g of double zero flour
60 g of granulated sugar
4 g of baking powder
an egg
60 ml of oil
the grated rind of an orange
two tablespoons of orange juice
salt to taste

The preparation
In a boule we break an egg and add the grated zest of the orange. Then add the granulated sugar, a pinch of salt and beat with a hand whisk. When we have a fairly liquid compound, we pour the oil into it and then mix again. Then we add the orange juice as well as the baking powder and the flour, several times.
After having mixed well, we take the dough we have obtained to a work table and divide it into two parts
Prepare the dessert
We deposit the largest part that we have obtained from the loaf on a pan covered with a sheet of parchment paper, after having spread it with a rolling pin. Once we have obtained a rectangular sheet, we place the apples we prepared at the beginning on top. We distribute them well over the entire surface and garnish them with the smallest part of the dough, which we grate for this purpose.
Now, being careful, cut into slices what we have deposited in the pan and put in the oven at 180 degrees for about twenty minutes.
When the dessert is ready, take it out of the oven and dust it with icing sugar.
