Soft Orange Cake Extra Fondant
Discover this recipe soft cake with extra fondant orange. Maximum pleasure with this delicious extra melting softness with a good orange taste that melts directly in your mouth!
Ingredients
- 16 tablespoons sugar
- 5 eggs
- 10 tablespoons oil
- 16 tbsp orange juice
- Orange zest
- 10 tablespoons of flour
- 6 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 sachet of baking powder
- Syrup: 1 glass of sugar, 1 glass of orange juice, Zest of an orange.
- Orange slices for garnish
Preparation
- Blanch the whole eggs and the sugar, then add the oil, the juice and the zest without ceasing to beat.
- Gently fold in the sifted flour, cornstarch and baking powder using a wooden spatula.
- Pour into a buttered and floured mold and bake for 35 – 40 minutes at 180°C.
- In the meantime, prepare the syrup, leave to cook for 10 minutes. Take the cake out of the oven and drizzle with warm syrup.
- Decorate with the orange pieces of your choice. Good preparation.
