Meatball Boats

Meatball Boats are a fun and tasty recipe that turns meatballs into delicious little boats. They are baked until golden brown and deliciously tender. These meatball boats are perfect for family meals or a night out with friends.

Ingredients

  • 125g bread dough
  • 300g minced beef
  • 4 fresh eggs
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roll out the dough thinly on a floured work surface.
  2. Cut it into two discs of equal size.

  4. Shape the discs of dough into a “boat” shape.
  5. Place a ball of aluminum foil in each hollow of the boats.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until the buns are lightly browned.
  7. Take the loaves out of the oven and carefully remove the foil balls.
  8. Crack two eggs into the hollow of each loaf without breaking them.
  9. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet.
  10. Cook the minced meat for a few minutes.
  11. Remove from the heat and divide into the hollows of the breads around the eggs.
  12. Add salt and pepper.
  13. Return to the oven for 10 minutes until the eggs are cooked.
  14. Serve right out of the oven. Enjoy your food !
