Soft bread: how to make the softest brioche ever! You only need a few ingredients to make the fluffiest brioche ever!
Ingredients
- 200 ml (3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons) lukewarm water
- 7 g (2 tsp) dry yeast
- 350 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
- 50g (1/4 cup) sugar
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 45g (3 tbsp) butter
Preparation
- Whisk warm water with sugar and dry yeast. Set them aside for the yeast to activate.
- Mix the flour with the salt and pour the yeast solution into it.
- Work the dough with your hands until smooth, then add the butter and knead for 10 minutes.
- Reserve the ball of dough for 2 hours. Cut the dough into 6 pieces, roll each one out and roll into a sausage shape again.
- Place logs in cake pan and let stand for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Bake 20-25 minutes at 180°C/350°F.
