Quick and Very Good Zebra Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250ml oil
  • 100ml milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 250g sugar
  • 300g flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Butter and flour a 23 cm diameter mold
  2. In a bowl, mix the eggs and the sugar with the oil and the milk until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. Divide this mixture into two equal parts.
  3. Mix the flour with the yeast.
  4. one, add 175 g of flour and vanilla extract, then whisk.
  5. In the other, add the remaining quantity of flour with the cocoa, and whisk.
  6. Preheat your oven to 180°C. In the center of the mold, alternately pour two or more tablespoons of each batter, ie one on top of the other. Repeat the process until the pasta is used up.
  7. Bake for about 40 minutes, checking for doneness (a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake should come out dry).
  8. Leave to cool for 5 minutes before unmolding the cake.
