The Recipe for Roasted Potatoes with Herbs
This roasted potato recipe has quickly become my family’s favorite side dish! The reason is very simple. A recipe is super easy to make and delicious Pan-roasted potatoes with garlic and thyme an ideal accompaniment to grills, roasts, skewers. A quick and easy recipe ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 500 g small potatoes
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon of each of these aromatic herbs: oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, sage
- ¼ teaspoon salt (more or less depending on taste)
- 2 pinches of paprika
- 140 g grated parmesan
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
- 30 g unsalted butter cut into small cubes
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 200°C. Clean and rinse the small potatoes. Dry them and cut them in half.
- Heat an ovenproof pan (preferably cast iron) and pour in the olive oil.
- Add the potatoes and cook until they appear crispy on the surface.
- Cook the potatoes, turning them frequently, until their skins are golden brown.
- Push the apples into one corner of the pan to make room. Add the garlic and sauté it. Add the herb mixture, salt and paprika. Stir to mix everything well.
- Turn off the heat and sprinkle the potatoes with parmesan and parsley.
- Transfer the pan to the oven and roast the potatoes for 15 minutes.
- Add the pieces of butter cut into cubes on top of the dish.
