Magical Vanilla Cake Very Easy and Quick to Make
Ingredients
- 50 cl of milk
- 2 vanilla pods
- 4 eggs
- 150g powdered sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 125g butter
- 110 g of flour
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
- Split the vanilla pods in two and remove the seeds with the blade of a knife.
- Heat the milk with the vanilla seeds and opened pods. Then let it infuse off the heat for at least 1 hour. The longer the vanilla is infused, the more intense the taste will be.
- Preheat your oven to 150°C. Separate whites from yellows. Whisk the yolks with the sugars and water until the mixture whitens.
- Melt the butter and add it to the preparation. Add the flour and salt and whisk for a few minutes.
- Remove the vanilla pods from the milk. Pour it little by little into the egg yolk mixture, while whisking.
- Beat the egg whites and gently incorporate them into the mixture. Pour the mixture into the buttered mold, smooth with the blade of a knife and bake for 50 minutes
- When it comes out of the oven, the cake will be slightly wobbly.
- Before unmolding it, leave it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, so that it sets. Serve chilled.
