My Ultra Easy and Fast Chakchouka

A stunning cold shakchouka starter to impress your guests in no time, quick, friendly and sure to please.

Ingredients

  • 2 green peppers and 1 red pepper or just green peppers
  • 1 or 2 green peppers according to your taste
  • 2 peeled tomatoes (skinless) cut into pieces
  • 3 cloves of garlic, sliced ​​+ 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • A little less than half a cube of crumbled chicken
  • 2 tbsp of sunflower oil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil flavored with garlic
  • Salt

Preparation

  1. Grill and peel the pepper and chilli then cut them into cubes.
  2. In a deep frying pan, brown the garlic until very lightly browned. Quickly add the tomato pieces and the salt before the garlic burns. Leave to cook until you obtain a coulis.
  3. Add the chilli and pepper, mix, cover and simmer until the sauce is reduced (4 minutes) add the olive oil, mix and serve hot with a flatbread.
  4. It is possible to prepare just the tomato garlic sauce without the peppers and add 1 tbsp of chopped parsley + 1 tbsp of chopped fresh coriander and serve it alone with green pepper.
