Souffled Japanese Pancakes: The Recipe to Make Them Soft and Appetizing

Japanese soufflé pancakes, also called “fluffy pancakes”, are a fluffy and airy variation of traditional pancakes. They are often served with maple syrup, butter and fresh fruit.

Ingredients

  • 2 yolks
  • 22 ml of milk
  • 35 g of flour
  • 2 g of baking powder
  • qs vanilla flavor
  • 3 egg whites
  • 25g of sugar
  • a few drops of lemon juice

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the milk, then add the flour and baking powder.
  2. Separately whisk the egg whites and add the sugar and lemon juice.
  3. Combine the two compounds by adding the vanilla flavor. Cook in a pan with a drizzle of seed oil.
