Potato Bombs: You won’t be able to stop at just one!
Potato Bombs are balls of mashed potatoes stuffed with cheddar and bacon, breaded and fried until golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Served with a sweet and sour sauce or mustard, they are perfect for a decadent snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 500g potatoes
- 250 g of semolina
- 100 g grated cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 sprig of parsley
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 whole egg
- Slices of boiled ham to taste
- Mozzarella for pizza as needed
- Peanut butter to taste
Preparation
- Boil and mash the potatoes. Add the semolina, cheese, salt, pepper, parsley, baking powder and egg. Knead the dough. Cool for 15 minutes.
- Spread the dough with a thin layer, squeeze discs with a diameter of 10 cm into a shape, grease with water. The ham and grated cheese are placed in the center of the disk and covered with another disk. The edges to close.
- The second option: fill the disk with crescent-shaped filling. Fry in plenty of oil.
