6 Oils to Rejuvenate the Face and Have Perfect Skin
Over time, the turnover of skin cells decreases, especially those that produce collagen and elastin, responsible for the firmness and elasticity of the skin. This results in a breakdown of the internal layers of the skin, which forms wrinkles. It is therefore a normal and natural phenomenon which cannot be eliminated but whose consequences can be mitigated.
There are oils rich in antioxidants and nutrients that can slow down the aging process of the skin, and prevent the premature appearance of wrinkles, fine lines or skin spots.
1 – CARROT OIL
Benefits: this macerate is your ally against the sun. By taking care not to expose yourself too much, you can avoid big problems. Carotenes are precursors of vitamin A and we need them
Use: before exposure, you can do an internal treatment of one teaspoon of carrot oil per day for 3 weeks. During the exposure period, carrot oil is a good restorative after washing, returning from the swimming pool or the beach. Be careful to use it in small quantities, well emulsified in the palm of your hand. Ensure perfect penetration because it stains. When returning from vacation, continue nightly use to maintain your tanned complexion.
2 – ROSEHIP OIL
For mature skin, there’s nothing like an oil capable of preventing aging. Rosehip, rich in carotenoids and therefore very regenerating, is renowned for working miracles on aging skin (very damaged skin, due to tobacco, the sun, etc.). For mature skin, evening primrose or borage oils are also recommended. Another option: you can go for cranberry oil or cherry oil, rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids.
3 – GRAPE OIL
A vegetable oil capable of penetrating the skin and nourishing it deeply. It does not contain fat and is therefore particularly useful for acne-prone skin and blackheads.
Additionally, it contains vitamin E, flavonoids and resveratrol which neutralize the damage caused by free radicals.
Apply grape oil directly to the skin, especially around the eyes, to eliminate wrinkles and crow’s feet.
4 – ARGAN OIL
Rich in vitamin E and unsaponifiables, this oil is known for its nourishing and regenerating properties. Its high concentration of antioxidants gives it significant anti-aging properties. It helps fight against fine lines and wrinkles as well as spots and sagging skin. In addition, it neutralizes free radicals and protects against external aggressions.
5 – SWEET ALMOND OIL
Ultra-gentle as its name suggests, this oil is known for its soothing and softening actions on dry and sensitive skin. Emollient, it nourishes and repairs the epidermis in addition to protecting it from skin dryness. We also like its velvet feel.
6 – BORAGE OIL
Borage oil is exceptionally rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamins which act on loss of skin elasticity, skin dryness and limit cellular aging. It restores suppleness and tone to the skin and has a strong regenerative power, which makes it an oil very suitable for an anti-aging serum. The association with evening primrose oil is ideal.
