For this recipe, get:
- for the dough:
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
- 100 g of sugar
- melted butter 30 g
- 120ml of milk
- 180 g of flour
- baking powder 10 g
- to garnish:
- 2 tangerines, cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1-2 tablespoons of sugar
Preheat the oven to 180°. Grease and flour a 20cm diameter cake tin.
Melt the butter in the microwave or in a double boiler and let it cool.
In a bowl, break the egg, add the vanilla sugar and the granulated sugar. Work the compound with electric whips to make it white and fluffy.
Add the melted butter and continue to work everything with the mixer. Now pour the milk and mix it with the hand whisk, then sift directly onto the flour and baking powder mixture. Let them absorb and when the dough is well bonded, transfer it to the pan and level the surface.
Peel the tangerines, open them in wedges, then distribute them on the cake in a radial pattern. Sprinkle them with sugar and melted butter.
Bake for about 30/35 minutes, check the cooking because times vary according to the performance of your appliance. Before removing the dessert, do the toothpick test and take it out of the oven only when it is dry.
Leave to cool and unmold, now enjoy this wonder.
