Remove the linens from your bed and put them in the wash, then sprinkle baking soda all over the mattress, you can use a sieve to make this easier. You can also take the opportunity to perfume your mattress by adding lavender essential oil, which you will spray (mixture of water and a few drops of essential oil).
Let the baking soda sit for a few hours before vacuuming or using a dust brush to thoroughly clean the mattress. Take your time when cleaning to remove as much dust and mites as possible.
