LEMON, AN EFFECTIVE NATURAL PRODUCT TO CLEAN AND PERFUME THE FLOOR

Lemon is one of the most effective natural and ecological cleaning products to use anywhere in the home  . You can use it to deodorize, degrease, descale, stain and clean all surfaces in your home.

To make your floor shine and eliminate dirt and bad odors, here is the recipe for our lemon-based floor cleaner:

What do you need : 

• A bucket full of hot water
• Juice of 4 lemons
• lemon slices

How does it work ?

Before cleaning the floor, consider ventilating your home and   removing   dust and crumbs by sweeping or vacuuming.

In the bucket filled with hot water, pour the lemon juice and add the lemon slices and leave for a few minutes.

Dip your mop into this mixture and use it to clean the floor. Don’t forget the corners and parts hidden by furniture and rugs.

Let the soil dry naturally.

Thanks to this method, you will have a cleaner and brighter flower bed but also a fresh and pleasant lemon smell.

OTHER NATURAL ALTERNATIVES TO CLEAN AND PERFUME THE FLOOR

Marseille soap and black soap

Marseille soap and  black soap  are well known for being effective gentle cleaners on all surfaces, but also on textiles.

To prepare your floor cleaner based on Marseille soap or black soap you will need the following:

• A bucket of hot water
• 2 tablespoons liquid soap (black soap or Marseille soap)
• 10 drops of the essential oil of your choice: citrus, lavender, eucalyptus…

In the bucket of hot water, add the liquid soap and essential oil and then use the mixture to clean your floor. The result: a shiny, clean floor with a pleasant smell throughout the house.

White vinegar

White vinegar is very effective at cleaning and disinfecting your floor while leaving it sparkling. To make this vinegar floor cleaner, you will need:

• 750 ml of water
• 250 ml white vinegar
• 20 drops of essential oil of your choice

Mix the ingredients in a spray bottle. You can spray directly on the floor or mop before cleaning.

Sodium bicarbonate

Baking soda is a very effective multi-surface cleaner that also makes floors shine. To make this cleaner, simply mix 1 liter of hot water with 2 tablespoons of baking soda and use this mixture to mop your flower bed.
