Crazy pasta with olive oil: very easy and spreads out immediately!

If the goal of the day is to prepare a simple and quick dough, the recipe you find below may be the right one. It is a very versatile “crazy pasta” that can be perfect when you want to prepare savory pies or any other dish.

Let’s see how it’s done.

The ingredients

We need:

150 g of hot water
300 g of double zero flour
30 g of extra virgin olive oil
salt to taste
a pinch of baking soda

The preparation

The first thing to do is to get a nice big bowl. Then we pour in the flour, salt and water (which we will have previously heated). Then add the olive oil and mix everything with your hands. When we have obtained the classic soft and smooth dough, we let it rest for about ten minutes.

After ten minutes, pass our loaf on a floured pastry board and then roll it out, kneading first with our hands and then with a rolling pin. We need to obtain a sheet about three or four millimeters thick.

At this point we can use this pastry in many ways: to line a cake tin, for example, but we can also shape it into a rectangle to then prepare the fragrant crust of a hearty strudel.

But obviously the uses of mad pasta can be many and varied: for example, we can cut it with a pasta cutter to make ravioli or panzerotti. The only limit is your imagination, as they say. And fantasy in the kitchen is everything, otherwise you know how boring!
