By liliaturcin5

Cockroaches are one of the most unpleasant pests that can invade a home. Not only are they annoying, but they can also be difficult to remove once they have established themselves. They are nocturnal and usually hide in dark and humid areas, making them difficult to detect and eliminating them can be quite a challenge. Even if you get rid of them, they are likely to come back if you don’t take preventive measures.

This can be especially frustrating, since cockroaches can contaminate food, spread germs, and cause allergies and other health problems. The best way to prevent cockroaches from entering your home is to keep it clean and dry, seal all cracks and crevices, and eliminate any sources of food or water.

However, there is a simple and quick method to do that will help you get rid of cockroaches forever.

Homemade popcorn trap against cockroaches

Materials:

Already cooked popcorn.
Bar soap
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp salt.

Step by Step:

1. Start by placing a generous amount of popcorn in a deep bowl.
2. Grate a little bar soap directly onto the popcorn. Add a tablespoon of baking soda and another of salt, making sure the ingredients are distributed evenly.
3. Cover the bowl tightly and shake it vigorously to ensure that the ingredients are mixed well.
4. When the mixture is ready, take an old cream or yogurt lid and pour a little of the mixture into it. Place these covers strategically around your house, near doors and windows, to make an improvised trap.
5. Please note that this remedy is most effective for two to three days, so be sure to change the caps when necessary. Additionally, this remedy also works to deter ants that usually nest in your kitchen.

Baking soda is a natural insecticide that can be used to eliminate cockroaches from your home. When cockroaches come into contact with baking soda, the dust absorbs body fluids from their exoskeletons, causing them to dehydrate and eventually die. Now imagine this mixed with bar soap. Without a doubt, it will be the end of these annoying bugs.
