Ingredients

  • 300 ml. of water
  • 1 apple
  • 1/2 tbsp. dried rosemary (or a sprig of fresh rosemary)

Preparation, step by step

  • Start by washing the apple; then cut it into squares and remove the seeds.
  • In the case of fresh rosemary, be sure to wash it anyway.
  • Then, place the apple pieces in a pot with water and bring it to the heat.
  • Once the water starts to boil, add the rosemary, reduce the heat, cover the pot and let it boil for about 5 minutes before turning off the heat.
  • Allow the mixture to cool with the pot still covered.
  • When the tea reaches a comfortable temperature, strain the preparation and serve; If you want to sweeten, ideally opt for honey, since white sugar tends to counteract the medicinal properties of the plants.

TIPS:

Selection of Ingredients:

  • Opt for fresh, good quality apples. You can choose a variety that suits your taste preferences.
  • Choose fresh rosemary and be sure to wash it thoroughly to remove any traces of soil.

Proportions and Customization:

  • Adjust the amount of apples and rosemary according to your personal preferences. You can experiment with the proportions to achieve the perfect balance.
  • If you like it more aromatic, add a little more rosemary; If you prefer a sweeter flavor, increase the amount of apples.

Water temperature:

  • When adding the rosemary to the boiling water, lower the heat to maintain a constant temperature. This will allow the properties of the rosemary to be gradually released into the liquid.
