Ingredients
- 300 ml. of water
- 1 apple
- 1/2 tbsp. dried rosemary (or a sprig of fresh rosemary)
Preparation, step by step
- Start by washing the apple; then cut it into squares and remove the seeds.
- In the case of fresh rosemary, be sure to wash it anyway.
- Then, place the apple pieces in a pot with water and bring it to the heat.
- Once the water starts to boil, add the rosemary, reduce the heat, cover the pot and let it boil for about 5 minutes before turning off the heat.
- Allow the mixture to cool with the pot still covered.
- When the tea reaches a comfortable temperature, strain the preparation and serve; If you want to sweeten, ideally opt for honey, since white sugar tends to counteract the medicinal properties of the plants.
TIPS:
Selection of Ingredients:
- Opt for fresh, good quality apples. You can choose a variety that suits your taste preferences.
- Choose fresh rosemary and be sure to wash it thoroughly to remove any traces of soil.
Proportions and Customization:
- Adjust the amount of apples and rosemary according to your personal preferences. You can experiment with the proportions to achieve the perfect balance.
- If you like it more aromatic, add a little more rosemary; If you prefer a sweeter flavor, increase the amount of apples.
Water temperature:
- When adding the rosemary to the boiling water, lower the heat to maintain a constant temperature. This will allow the properties of the rosemary to be gradually released into the liquid.
