In addition to lack of ventilation , there are other reasons why wardrobes smell bad, but in this article we offer you some solutions to keep your wardrobes always smelling good , and the clothes you keep too.
1. Ventilate the cabinets
Odors in lockers can be caused by clothes not drying properly or not being aired out after using them. Clothes absorb odors. The best way to prevent closets from smelling is to air them out at least once a week , leaving all windows and cabinets open.
2. Natural cleaner for cleaning cabinets
To clean the cabinets, you can prepare a homemade cleaner. All you need is 5 bay leaves, half a liter of water, a few tablespoons of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of liquid Marseille soap.
To prepare it, simply place the bay leaves in a pot of water and bring to the boil. Then the Marseille soap and baking soda are poured. You place this solution in a spray bottle and clean all the surfaces and shelves in the closet . Then dry well with a microfiber cloth. It is recommended to do this cleaning especially during the changing seasons, but you can do it as often as you want.
4. Sachets of bay leaf, lavender or rosemary to scent the cupboards
As you have certainly done other times, you can put cloth bags with bay leaves, lavender or rosemary sprigs inside, scattered on the shelves or cabinet drawers to perfume them naturally.
You will see that with these precautions your cabinets will smell clean.
