Ingredients

  • 220 g of dumplings
  • 200 g of potatoes
  • 1 kg of clams
  • chopped fresh parsley to taste
  • 1 minced garlic
  • 3 fresh cherry tomatoes
  • a clove of chopped onion
  • a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

  1. To start, take the potatoes, peel them, cut them into small pieces and leave them aside for a moment.
  2. Then take a pan and cook the extra virgin olive oil with the garlic and the clams already opened, which will release a liquid that you will have to keep, as you will need it later.
  3. At this point, take another pan and pour in the extra virgin olive oil, the garlic, the chopped onion and the chopped tomatoes, then filter the cooking water and add it to these ingredients, which you can now add and mix very well. potatoes and then leave everything on the fire (obviously be careful not to burn anything, so every now and then take a look at it to be safe).
  4. Now you can take care of the gnocchi, then boil some sufficiently salted water and pour them into it (it is good that you know that they take relatively little to cook, usually no more than a few minutes , in fact as soon as you see them come back to the surface it means they are ready ).
  5. Once the gnocchi are cooked too, you have to drain them, then pour them into the pan with the potatoes, then to complete, add the clams and sprinkle some parsley.
  6. Finally, bring the dish to the table, serve the gnocchi with clams and potatoes and enjoy them with your guests.
