How to grow garlic in a pot and never buy it again
Garlic is an essential ingredient in our cuisine, and excluding it from our diet is almost impossible and would not make much sense.
Rich in vitamin E, magnesium, selenium and numerous antioxidant compounds, garlic has a wide variety of therapeutic properties and health benefits.
What few people know is that growing garlic in a pot is incredibly simple, requiring very little effort to have a constant supply of this excellent vegetable. Growing garlic at home provides a source of organic, pesticide-free products, as well as financial savings.
To grow garlic, you will need 1 clove of garlic, a pot about 20 centimeters deep, and potting soil.
Select a clove of garlic and, without removing the skin, plant it about 10 centimeters deep in the soil, with the pointed part facing up.
If you decide to plant more than one clove, be sure to leave about 8cm of space between them. The garlic will take a few weeks to sprout.
